JVIR Hemodialysis Collection
Editor's Note: The editors and staff of the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (JVIR) are pleased to introduce the electronic collection of JVIR publications on the topic of hemodialysis. One of the many advantages of electronic publication is the ability to gather previously published articles with a particular focus into "virtual" collections, allowing interested readers convenient access to timely articles without the need to search them out individually. As with JVIR's previously established focused collections–uterine artery embolization and musculoskeletal interventions–the hemodialysis collection gathers the full gamut of articles on hemodialysis published in JVIR within the last 3 years. This collection addresses central venous access for hemodialysis as well as the evaluation and treatment of arteriovenous access conduits, including both clinical and laboratory investigations. Additionally, it gathers relevant consensus documents relating to standards of clinical practice, quality improvement, and research reporting standards. We hope that readers find this collection a helpful addition to their access to JVIR.
